Scrap Tape Cutter
The scrap tape cutter is designed to cut off small pieces of reel tape and collect them in a collection bin for ease of disposal. This cutter can accommodate two banks of tape for disposal, maximum of two cutters per machine. The unit is mounted on wheels for easy mobility, and is supplied with a power cord to plug into the base machine. Please contact us for more information.
Removable Banks
The scrap tape cutter is fully compatible with all SMT machine removable bank machines with the following exceptions:
Dual track 7 – 13” reel feeders: When using a dual track 7 – 13” reel feeder, it is suggested that the feeder slot safety finger be removed for best performance. Any safety finger that has been removed must be replaced if no feeder occupies its respective slot. The scrap tape cutter must be removed in order to perform a bank change.
