Use the following procedure to replace the vertical axis timing belt.
Procedure:
1.Power down the machine and perform Lockout/Tagout according to local procedures.
2.Loosen the four screws securing the vertical motor just enough to permit the motor to slide. Observe that the motor is spring loaded
against the timing belt.
3.Adjust the jacking screw in the jacking plate so that it applies enough pressure on the vertical motor so that the timing belt can be removed.
Remove the timing belt.
4.Perform the Head Drive Home Pulse Setup Procedure. Refer to the
table of contents in this section for the location of this procedure.
